…In October 2022, those aspirations became a reality. After years of partnering with and listening to the voices in the community, The Bay finally opened - transforming wants, needs and hopes into a reality.

Building More Park, Sooner

After receiving numerous approvals, the design of Phase 2 will be underway in the back half of 2023!

Completing the Ring:
Phase 2 Plans

Phase 2 focuses on developing the “ring” of park south of the 10th Street boat launch and includes the Dockside Canal Zone, the City Side Cultural District, the Sunset Pier, and the Western Shoreline of the park.
