The Bay is a place that keeps our community connected.

From the bayfront to downtown, to the greater Gulf Coast region, The Bay keeps our communities connected.

With a focus on improved connectivity for the wider region, we are creating safe, convenient and ecologically-sound automobile, pedestrian, bicycle and boat connections in every direction across The Bay.

Safe Pedestrian Access to The Bay
Connecting to Downtown

In our 2018 survey of 3,300 people, Pedestrian Bridges were voted as one of the most wanted features at the park - providing a safer, easier and more convenient way for park goers to cross North Tamiami Trail and access The Bay.

In line with our environmental goals, we’ve reimagined access to the park while ensuring we have the smallest practicable footprint possible.

Visit The Bay!

There are many ways to explore The Bay, including several pedestrian and bike paths open for the park-goers to access and enjoy.

We continue to update this map throughout the construction process.
